WJAA will become WJACIO

Our application to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation has been accepted by the Charities Commission. This will mean that we will have charitable status and be able to hold a lease as an organisation rather than have an individual person hold it. At our Special General Meeting on 16 Dec, members agreed that we will become West Jesmond Allotments Charitable Incorporated Organisation when the committee decides, expected to be when a new lease is agreed with the Council and Freemen.
